Empowering Elders

  Everyone needs and deserves a little help from time to time. We weren't meant to go through life on our own. Afterall, we were created to live interdependently in community. Unfortunately, that is not as common of a lifestyle as it once was but we are here to fill in the gap. Empowering Elders offers a wonderful opportunity for you to care for yourself or your loved ones well and obtain the desired quality of life.

Below you will find a robust, but not inclusive, offering of services available. If there is something you know you would like assistance with that is not on the list, please feel free to ask. We may still be able to meet your needs. Chances are we know who to refer you to that is able. 

If you would like to have these services but are not able to afford the market rate please do let us know because there may be grant funding in place to bridge the gap for you. 

Your retainer grants you:

• 24/7 email access to our operations director

• Our team consistently uses our gifts and years of lived experience to identify and implement the healthiest, most functional and efficient way to meet your needs. We will take into consideration what has been expressed as well as your regular habits and practices to discern workable solutions for you. 

  Hourly breakdown is as follows: 

• General unskilled data entry, email purging and organizing, clerical, companionship, etc. $25 hrly

• Orated history interviews, content capture time and editing  $25 hrly. 

  Travel charge may apply

• Skilled Clerical/Executive Assistant work/SM Management/Marketing/Website work/project management, skilled domestic management, personal assistant work, setting of doctors appointments, schedule management, etc.  $35-$50 hrly.

• Team communications for project management $25 hrly. 

• Coached Body Doubling where you are doing the task and we are simply advising or keeping you company to keep you focused on the task at hand either in person or via video call $50 hrly.

• Social accompaniment may be available on a case by case basis $25-$50 hrly. (plus all cost of our participation and attendance)

Example: Needing a plus one for an event, travel support, companionship during or assistance with errands or appointments, etc. Additional fees may be charged according to terms outlined in the contract portion of this proposal.

• Done-with-you services like hand over hand training, problem solving, task execution etc. in home or office) $50-$125 hrly. depending on physical demand of the duty and amount of professional advising required and the condition of the environment the work is being done in. 

  An example of this would be purging and organizing of spaces. If we are just operating as an extra set of hands and feet then $50 an hour is likely the fee. However if the client is really unaware of how to discern through that process and make decisions that facilitate the desired outcome then $88 hrly. would be the rate. In the event the client has some "collecting" tendencies or patterns of behavior that are consistent with neurodiversity then $125 would be the hourly rate and we would assess whether we are a good fit for the service needs. 

• Done-for-you services, not outlined above, also range from $50-$125 hourly depending on skill level required and physical or mental demand.  

Examples: Errands, light domestic tasks, change a lightbulb, hang pictures, organizing, home curation, house checks while resident is away, etc. 

• Coaching, Consulting, speaking, group conference education or presentation $125 hrly.

  This includes event prep time and recap preparation.

PLEASE NOTE: We are NOT home or office cleaners. We organize and tidy, put functional systems in place and help make your life run smoothly.  All cleaning will need to be done by the appropriate services. 

 
We’ll work together as long as things are moving along in an advantageous way for both you and our team. It is your responsibility to evaluate your needs and express them clearly as well as to promptly discuss your degree of satisfaction with the arrangement prior to payment of each retainer. If work has been done that exceeds the previous retainer paid, but the contracting party wishes to pause or cancel services, that overage must be paid upon invoice being sent. Once retainers are paid the time will be worked out, not refunded. There will always be a variety of retainer amount options for you to choose from so that as we move toward the finalization of your goals, your financial commitment will minimize.  If a continuation of service is desired past a year, an assessment of the service options will be done and any changes needed will be presented and a new agreement drafted and signed off on.
